Mark is a teacher of Contact Improvisation and a practitioner of Taiji with 20 years of practice, and the director of Leviathan Studio, an off-grid space a place in nature to study movement, dance, and meditation, dedicated to Contact Improvisation, and committed to sustainable practices and permaculture serving organic local food whenever possible.

I had the pleasure of sitting down Mark Young during his recent visit to Montreal. Mark and I talk about his story, his injuries and rehabilitation, our practice of dance and martial arts, and the neural benefits of Contact.

Enjoy!
